biography
Agna, or Alba 🙂 … I was born in Manresa in the early 1970s.
Generation X.
Music came into my life when I was very young, thanks to my grandfather. I studied music theory and piano for part of my childhood, a time I remember fondly. Then came adolescence and the demanding conservatoire culture of that era, which closed that door for me.
Years later, thanks to a much gentler way of understanding music, I opened it again — wide open.
Today, alongside playing the piano, I’m exploring composition and music production in greater depth, completing my music degree, learning guitar and bass, and playing in a band where we write our own music.
Agna grew out of this return to music and my desire to keep learning.
It’s my own space to create and shape ideas, to experiment and explore, drawing on everything I’ve learned and my own way of understanding music.
